Linen Stitch Fingerless Gloves Free Crochet Pattern

I made these a few weeks ago.
For Ashley to wear in school.



 She loves it. 
I'm happy. 
















Dk yarn of your choice (I used 2 strands of light weight together)
Hamanaka hook 5/0 (or 3.0mm hook)
2x button

Note: This is based on a small-medium sized hand.

The pattern that follows is the one I used for actually making the above gloves.

40 sc sl st ch 2
1. sk 1st ch after, sl st.  *sc on next ch 1* repeat sll st (40)
2. ch2  sk 1st sc. *sc on ch 1 from previous row* repeat sc on last st sl st 40
3-8. ch2 sk 1st sc. sc on sp
9. ch2 sc on 1st sp ch *(sc ch sc) on next sp. ch sc 3x)* repeat 4x. sc ch sc next space, ch sc 2x sl st (50)
10. ch 2 sc on 1st sp ch *(sc ch sc) on next sp ch sc 3x)* repeat 6x sl st (62)
11. ch 2 sc ch
12. ch 2 sc ch
13. ch 2 sc ch
14. ch 2 sc ch
15. ch2 sc ch 20x more sc skip 20 stitches sl st (42)
16. ch 2 sc ch
17.-26
27. skip 2 st. 5dc on 3rd sc. sk 2 st sc next. repeat. sl st

thumb
1. sl on first skipped sc. ch 1. sc on next space repeat 9x more. sl st on chain sp of round 15 to close gap/hole. sl st.
2. ch 1 sc on 1st .sp. ch 1 sk previous round slip stitch sc sl st (19)
3-6. Repeat step 2.

For the wrist part:

Start on the 16th ch (for the right wrist and 25th ch space for the left glove)
1. sl st ch 1. skip sc . sc on next space (37) turn
2. ch1 sc on next( sp) last sc will be on turning chain1 from prev round (37) turn
3-10 Repeat step 2
11. sk 2 stitches 5 dc on next sk 2 sc on next repeat5x more ch5 sl st on ch1 from previous round

Down the side of the parting:
7 sc on side
2 sc on the round 27 sc
7sc on opposite sl st on first dc of last round
